Position Summary

Andor Health is seeking an experienced Director, Product Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining new product lines to consumers in an engaging, functional way, while opening up fresh distribution channels and collaborating with other departments. The DPM will work creatively and pragmatically to leverage market insights, lead product discovery, create/quantify product value propositions, and manage lifecycle planning (features, enhancements, etc.) for new innovations and existing products by engaging with a cross-functional team and external stakeholders to understand customer needs, assess organizational readiness, create/present business cases, foster partnerships, and execute on value-added product/enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to define, build, market and support products:
    • Design and User Research to ensure the product is compelling and solving the right problems
    • Create, write and establish requirements and workflows into net new products and functionality
    • Legal and Quality to ensure a compliant product
    • Customer Success and User Research to incorporate user feedback into the product
  • Lead product development teams through the software development lifecycle
  • Communicate technically with development leads about technology choices and implementation methods to guide design and planning
  • Experience coordinating with field teams, partners and customers to validate solution direction and functionality
  • Experience and knowledge of leveraging API, HL7 and FHIR-based protocols to integrate with source systems
  • Perform research/analysis to vet product ideas for market opportunity/risk, revenue, costs
  • Participate in strategic planning to prioritize tasks and workloads for sprint
  • Track and analyze use of the product to report on progress towards key metrics and goals
  • Familiarize yourself with the product line's components and its potential impact on the market as a whole
  • Practice discretion when discussing the production roll-out and maintain confidentiality
  • Oversee the product line's life cycle and anticipate any problems
  • Evaluate market competition and position the product line so that it appeals to consumers

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in the fields of computer science, engineering, MIS or equivalent

Experience

  • 2-5 yrs experience as a hands-on Product/Program Manager for a Health IT company required
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and techniques, ability to build queries and reports
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred
  • Experience with kanban and/or agile frameworks
  • Experience working on cloud-based products is preferred
  • Expert communicator with regards to presentations, writing, conversations
  • Strong leadership and excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial healthcare technology startup preferred
